Rarau mountains
Rarau-Giumalau Mountains are part of the Eastern Carpathians, located in the picturesque area of Bukovina, in the upper catchment of Moldova and Bistrita.
Giumalau maximum altitudes are in Giumalau Peak (1857 m) and Rarau Peak (1651 m). The mountian provides numerous tourist attractions, karst relief, lookout points, impressive cliffs, forest reserves, which are accessible by a modernized road.
